“Luxury items require special care” - as our products are made from the highest quality materials special care will also guarantee a long life.

To make sure you continue to enjoy our Wolford products for a long time to come, below are a few tips on washing and caring for your favourite pieces!

We generally recommend carefully washing bodies by hand.

For machine washing please follow the special care instructions found on the label sewn into the garment and protect the body by washing it in the special wash bag. Use mild detergent for very delicate products. To protect the fibres please wash knitted productsinside out, i.e. always turn inside out to wash.

For hand washing please make sure the liquid detergent is completely dissolved and only then rinse with warm water, followed by cold water. Then roll up knitted products in clean terry towels or spin dry on a short spin programme (never wring out). Reshape while damp after spin drying and allow to dry flat.

the Viscose range can be machine washed at 30. Viscose typically becomes rigid when wet, becoming hard and more compact, but regains its original shape as soon as it is ironed. Fabric softner is also recommended here. Dry flat.

  • Hand wash in lukewarm water. Do not rub, tear or wring out the garment.
  • Garment may be washed using 30 C programme for delicate fabrics.
  • Chlorine bleachers should not be used to move stains. Detergents containing chlorine should not be used.
  • Garment may be dry-cleaned.
  • Garment may not be dry-cleaned. Do not use any stain removers containing solvents. Stain-removing sprays and other chemicals can destroy synthetic yarns contained in the fibres.
  • Garment may not be tumble-dried. The material is not suitable for the high temperatures of the drier.
  • Cool iron. Set iron for polyamide and polyacryl. Products which tend to develop glossy spots and marks caused by pressure can be ironed on the inside or with a dry cloth in between. Do not use a vapour iron. Do not stretch.
  • Garment may be tumble-dried. The point symbolises the drying levels of the drier. One point means the garment may be dried with reduced thermal stress.
  • No Ironing.
